Eight colours, eight poems, one wall.
Barbara wrote haikus about colour and then painted them onto the colour they describe. Each panel is a field of its own, the poem written straight into the wet paint in her own hand and the colour's name lettered large enough to read across a room.
This is the second of two such sets. The first won her an international award in 2009. This one she made in 2011 and showed four times in six years — more showings than almost anything else she painted.
