RESEARCH ACCESS

Ask for the source.

The public pages carry what we can stand behind. Researchers, curators, writers and students may request what sits beneath them.

HOW TO CITE

Cite documents as Estate of Barbara Romain, Los Angeles, with the archive reference the Estate supplies on request (the archive files every item under a dated name, logged to its original source).

Cite artworks by Barbara Romain, title, year. Then add medium and dimensions as illustrated in the example to the right, with © Estate of Barbara Romain.

Photographs carry their photographer’s credit.

Institutions may propose loans of paintings, ceramics and archival material. Two paintings are on continuous national tour with Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate; others are available.
