Terremoto

Earthquake — six feet square, and one of the oldest large canvases she kept.
Terremoto is a text field worked in acrylic with graphite and marker, part of the family of big square paintings that includes What Comes After Black?, Hard Rain and Purple Haze. She sent it out six times across more than a decade, which for a canvas this size says plainly what she thought of it.
