I pray every day for those I love.
That sentence is the painting. She wrote it in block capitals and again in cursive underneath, over and over, until the words stopped being a sentence and became the surface.
She painted it in 2022 — one of the last works she made — and it went into a Chicago collection that April, through Passionate Focus, within weeks of leaving her studio.
